License
Within Reason is licensed to you under Apple’s Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement. These terms add a few points about purchases and about what the app is for.
Purchases
- Yearly plan. Billed by Apple to your Apple Account. It renews automatically at the same price each year unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the renewal date. Cancel anytime in your iPhone’s Settings, under your name, then Subscriptions.
- Lifetime purchase. A single payment. Nothing renews.
- Emergency unlocks. One a day is free. Extra emergency unlocks are single purchases that are used up when you use them.
- Refunds are decided by Apple. You can ask for one from the app’s Settings or at reportaproblem.apple.com.
- Price changes never apply to what you already bought. If the yearly price changes, Apple tells you before your next renewal.
What the app is, and isn’t
Within Reason helps you use your phone the way you intend to. Its suggestions come from an AI model, and they can be wrong. It is not medical or psychological advice, and it isn’t a parental control. You can change its settings, pause it or turn it off at any time, and it relies on iOS features that Apple may change.
